Comments
Comments: Early this morning no defined path on the road walk and only 1 previous day set of bare boot tracks on Hale Brook. About 4-6 inches down low with increasing amounts up higher. Very loose snow on Hale Brook, four folks from Maine came up after me wearing snow shoes and made a good trench but it didn't pack. The Zealand road had a hard packed snow shoe path on my way out this afternoon. The Lend a hand trail and wardens trail had both been broken out with snow shoes. Nice day out but no sun on that side of the mountain. Thought about going to Zealand but it took me almost 4 hours to get up Hale, burned up the daylight and my legs.
