| Comments: |
Headed out for a spot sheltered from the wind to get some use of my snowshoes, Dry River trail was just the place. With late start went in to about 1/2 mile beyond the wilderness boundary along the dry river. Unpacked powder from the beginning - about 6-8 inches deep. Lost path in a couple of spots but found my way back after a few yards. Great views of the river but you can sure see the damage wrought by Irene. |
