Comments
Comments: Trail was well tracked. We used snowshoes as did others. Spikes would have been fine and barebooting also worked. A couple groups headed toward Eisenhower but did not make it. Winds were very high gusting around 40 and about zero degrees. One person who did turn back also said wind blown drifts were waist high. Did not seem like the day to push the envelope. Views were spectacular and around the summit cairn the winds was not bad and we were visited by the GrayJays. Congrats to Michelline, Allie and Tim for this hike. Not calendar winter but full blown winter conditions. Nice to see GaryT out enjoying the day.
