3 degrees when I started at 3 am for this sunrise hike. I broke trail (2-4" of snow) all the way to the summit in spikes and snowshoed down. most people use spikes but the shoes worked well. When on the summit conditions were crystal clear with no wind. Watching the sunrise from Jackson was spectacular! Great morning to hike Mt. Jackson. |
