Easy with low levels today; minor ice on rocks to be cautious of. |

Trail in great shape. Nicely blazed and signed. One knows when junctions or turns are coming with the proper blazing. |

Brought snowshoes and microspikes but never considered using them today. Trail well packed down; a nice base which would be great if it stayed cold enough to last; we'll see. Probably a 3-6" pack with around 8-12" off trail. Some minor drifting once hitting Sosman jct.. No views this morning but winds were not an issue. Nice chatting with Hiker Ed and others. |
