Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a pair of wrap around sunglasses near the top. I was the last one down so I put them on the trail head sign at the bottom. Also found a Black Bula knit hat and pink bandana in the lot at the bottom where the hikers park. I put them on a rock but the wind blew them off so I brought them home. Let me know if they are yours and I will get them to you. A young gal on her first 4000 hike lost her iphone and wallet somewhere above the lookout. If you are up that way maybe you will have better luck finding it ....

Comments
Comments: Pretty much a loose packed path to the top. most of the ice is under the snow and wasn't really a factor. Low winds on the way up but on top at 4pm the winds had picked up some. Beautiful views of Franconia Ridge. They were dressed in a pinkish glow. Head lamped most of the way down in dead calm and perfect temps. I sat and watched vehicles on the road below for awhile. As I was leaving there were fireworks at Cannon Mt. so I pulled over and watched the free show, they were actually really nice. I bare booted up and decided to wear micro spikes with the head lamp on the descent. Truly an awesome experience on a day that I wasn't feeling it at the start.
