| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Zealand Road open. Packed snow from 302 to Hale Brook TH. Could be slick if traveling too fast. Should be open this weekend; can't see any reason why it wouldn't be. Didn't have time to check out road from here to Zealand lot. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Easily rock hopped. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Few blowdowns easy step overs. One large blowdown 10-15 minutes below summit which will become issue with 3 feet of snow or more. At that point hopefully branches will be able to be removed to allow for under or over main tree without rerouting around (which would be a substantial reroute if done) Big tree!! Currently easily hiked under and too high to saw any branches off. |
