| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lots (we spotted a car at the Gale River trailhead and started at N. Twin trailhead) were empty when we arrived. There were a few cars in the afternoon. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
We bushwacked around the first two crossings on the N. Twin trail and were happy we did. The rest were do-able. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There was a foul smell at the Galehead hut. Old sewage? Very unpleasant. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
The dogs loved it. Husky heaven when the temps cool down and there is snow and ice. They did fine on the water crossings. |

There was a men's XL black Mountain Hardware vest hanging from a tree about mid-way on the Gale River trail. |
