| Comments: |
Started up at 0800, temp in upper 30s, windy at the ridgeline, but didn't need to don my extra gear (was in a shirt/shell with long sleeve wicking poly underneath). Summit in and out of clouds, with good views opening up. 4 folks there when I arrived, with 3 others arriving later coming up from Tripoli. Met 2 on Tecumseh and Sossman trails who were ascending on my way down. Snow on the trail above the lookout point on the Tecumseh trail. Not significant depth, but packed and slippery in places. I didn't have traction, which is why I descended via the ski slope. Going down without traction would have been treacherous, in my opinion. |
