Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water level is low enough that existing rocks and logs are sufficient to negotiate the many water crossings with dry feet. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blazing could be better, especially at the far side of water crossings. Otherwise the trail is in good condition.

Bugs: Yes. Black flies are the most bothersome.

Comments: We hiked the loop counter-clockwise, going up to South Hancock and coming down off North Hancock. There are a few patches of monorail snow and a few puddles of standing water on the ridge; but I made it fine in sneakers.
