Water level is low enough that existing rocks and logs are sufficient to negotiate the many water crossings with dry feet. |

Blazing could be better, especially at the far side of water crossings. Otherwise the trail is in good condition. |

Yes. Black flies are the most bothersome. |

We hiked the loop counter-clockwise, going up to South Hancock and coming down off North Hancock. There are a few patches of monorail snow and a few puddles of standing water on the ridge; but I made it fine in sneakers. |
