| Comments: |
Out & back of Wildcats from 19-Mile Brook parking. Occasional icy spots on 19-Mile. Frozen in morning; thawed and wet, muddy on way out. Wildcat Ridge had very little ice with 2-5" of powder providing nice traction. Never really felt the need for spikes today; did carry them and it was a 50\50 split with hikers we met using them. We were treated to better than forecast conditions and the best views over to the Presidentials that we could recall. |
