All trails in good shape, except for parts of Bridle Path above and below Flea hut, which need more brushing. |

Neither canines nor humans seen, but little option for water between last crossing of Falling Waters and Eagle Lake, which not yet frozen over. |

Had hoped for a full moonlit traverse, but clouds diffused the moonlight. Still a favorite solo night route, which wrapped up my solo grid round for these two most climbed peaks on my various lists (48th ascent of Lafayette). Some icy patches easily avoided, but needed headlamp. |
