| Comments: |
The rock slabs about 2/3 the way up were mostly wet with a little ice but there are plenty of roots and branches to help out. However the final section of slabs before the summit had a good deal of thin ice with running water which I found to be pretty dicey. I had to use three and even four points of contact on this section especially on descent.
I was the first one at the lot so I had the ascent and summit to myself and saw only one other group ascending when I was descending. Clouds limited the summit views a bit while I was there but there were still many to be had. |
