Instead of Jefferson and Wahington, Cabot was my B plan. Mill Brook Road is in good shape and there was no snow on it. Snow started out as a dusting and increased to 3 inches getting up to Mt. Cabot. Trails are in good shape and there was no hidden ice under the snow cover. With no snow in lower elevation forecast this is a good time to get Cabot. I prefer this approach over the York Pond and Bunnel Notch and the Mt. Cabot trail. Glad to meet Jack and 4 other hikers on the trails. |
