Only car in lot today. Ravine Lodge Road open; some work going on to buildings. Rte 118 improved with some patch work and minor paving since May 2014. |

2 sizeable blowdowns on Gorge Brook; both above the 3300' mark. 1 on Snapper; partly removed. 1 on Carriage Road which will be in way of skiers; could be lifted aside by 2 hikers. Nicely maintained trails! |

If I'd started at 8:00 A.M. dry trail and minor ice would've been the only conditions. However 11:30 start found light snow falling. Ground minimally covered in higher elevations. There will be patches of ice lurking under this; most notably a few sections coming down Carriage Road. Top of Snapper Tr. and below was wet as of mid afternoon. Quite likely changing very soon. |
