Comments
Comments: Trails were generally snow covered with 1 to 2 inches. Lots of slipping but micros wouldn't really have helped and would probably have been balling up. Winds were very quiet for most of the time with the peaks sporting 10-15 mph. I was surprised to see no other hikers and no human tracks in the latest snowfall however I did come across fresh bear tracks near Guyot. On the way back lots of the icy spots had become bare rock which sped up the exit process. What a great November day to be out in the Whites. Thanks to Franco for suggesting the hike and for waiting for me to get back!
