See Franco's report for some of these trails. From South Twin to West Bond the trails were free of blow downs. There were some places between South Twin and Guyot that could use some brushing. |

 | Comments: |
Trails were generally snow covered with 1 to 2 inches. Lots of slipping but micros wouldn't really have helped and would probably have been balling up. Winds were very quiet for most of the time with the peaks sporting 10-15 mph. I was surprised to see no other hikers and no human tracks in the latest snowfall however I did come across fresh bear tracks near Guyot. On the way back lots of the icy spots had become bare rock which sped up the exit process. What a great November day to be out in the Whites. Thanks to Franco for suggesting the hike and for waiting for me to get back! |
