| Comments: |
The trails were dry at low altitudes. Once past Zealand Hut, there was scattered places of ice along the trail. I was able to navigate around or through all icy places, but did have microspikes just in case. There was a half inch of snow at the higher altitudes. Twinway, Lend A Hand, and Hale Brook Tr all had stretches of ice. Hale Brook Tr had a lot of ice on the upper half of the trail and a small stream crossing that was dangerous from all of the rocks being iced over. |
