Comments
Comments: Made a long trip of cannon. I started on the rec path at flume and took the pemi tr. to the basin. Then I took Basin cascades and cascade brook to the hut. Ascended cannon using lonesome lake tr. and took hi-cannon to dodge cuttoff down. After heading down to Lafeyette place I walked the rec path all the way up to the tramway and took the pemi tr. all the way back.

I did not bring light traction, but I wished I had for descending the flow-ice on the hi-cannon. The only other person I saw on that trail was using micros. There was over an inch of snow higher up on cannon. Very low wind chill and not much for views.
