Comments
Comments: 3 other solo hikers on same/similar loops; snow on bog bridges on the ridge; ice on ridge trail as well, but one could easily step around; no need to microspikes; plenty of running and standing water on Imp Trail and 19 Mile Brook, but my feet stayed dry all day-->could easily rock hop or walk around

beautiful ice formations on branches on the ridge--winter has arrived

Presis were in clouds all day, but 360 views from Carter Range; sun became increasingly obscured by the clouds throughout day; but no wind at all on trails--never had to layer up--perfect hiking temps
