Comments
Comments: Scouted for another brook crossing but settled on the regular one and it was fine..Leave covered trail down below..once above the fogged in view point trail alternately covered with pine needles or running water..once to the ridge past the viewpoints trail dries out but a little brushy. We layered up at the Beaver Brook Jct. Greeted with rime ice just before treeline..35 degrees with 25 mph wind alond the ridge walk blew us about a bit . The grass and some of the rocks all ice coated but we didn't linger long in the blowing fog.. Once back below treeline we had a quick snack and then shed layers as we descended..Slightly better view from the look out on descent..
