I knew the conditions going into this and wanted a challenge. Turns out my guts are a lot stronger and I listen well. Turned back at probably 3900ft on the Ridge trail. The section that is eroded and exposed with the two big boulders to get over? Due to the snow, they are hella slippery... So, we opted to turn back here and enjoy the snow fall. As soon as the trails fill in and firm up, we'll be back to hike and slide our way all the way to D peak! Also, if anyone is interested in hiking with me on future hikes, please feel free to drop and email... I'm starting to think that a little company would be great. |
