Comments
Comments: Did this one solo. The forecast didn't look great but it didn't look too bad either - 10% chance of showers. Well, the showers came and it was cold enough to cause the water to become sleet at the lower elevations and snow at the upper elevations. Despite the fact that the rock slab was wet I had no problems whatsoever climbing right up the middle of the wet rock because I was wearing my super sticky 5.10 Camp Four hiking boots. They stick to anything - I actually thought the slick mud along the edges of the trail posed more of a risk. Didn't slip even once. Was alone until I bumped into a guy coming down from Flume (had come up Osseo Trail) and then saw two guys near Liberty Springs Campsite and then a girl a little after that - all were on there way up and all had driven up to hike so they were braving the elements. There were no views at all. I made pretty good time and finished early so I drove up the street and climbed Cannon in the afternoon.
