trails in great shape. very little mud. no snow to be seen except in the woods near cannon summit. dressed for summer. did break out a little bug spray.
first time hiking cannon this way. was a nice day for it, though pretty hot out in the open. mittersill is a worthy destination in its own right. great views and a nice open summit. thanks to those who've recommended it and to mark for the info.
