Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All of the stepping stones are submerged on the Cedar Brook trail. With boots and poles, the crossing weren't too bad. On the way up we took the bushwhack that is marked with orange surveyor's tape, on the way down we crossed at all crossings. We found the crossings to be manageable enough to outweigh the bushwhack.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns on Hancock Notch trail. Some loose rock on the ascent up South Hancock. One spot where a stepping stone/boulder had fallen out. On the descent off Hancock (north peak), there was a stream of water. However the trail there is made of small stones, so it wasn't slippery, just loose.

Comments
Comments: Beautiful day. We decided to ascend South Hancock first, but that means the ascent is all in the shade since the trail ascends the north west side. Ascending the north peak, Mt. Hancock, might be the better option for ascent if you get out in the morning.
