Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Two 4K'ers and a 2 y.o. on her first big hike - all had a blast! We passed another half dozen or so more dogs, all seemed like happy hikers and variety of ages/sizes. Some may struggle with the slippery rocks and I've even had one nervous of the intense wind before but the grade, etc. make this a great dog hike IMO :)

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a pair of sunglasses placed conspicuously on a rock for the owner to return to.

Comments
Comments: Excellent day for Eisenhower! The trail was pretty dry til somewhere around the bridges. Wet trail/rocks, water briefly running along trail near treeline but most of it was drying nicely by the time we were heading down (clouds were moving in...not sure what tonight will bring) Plus the nice grade makes none of the wet rocks/sections too sketchy or challenging. All was dry above treeline. Very windy but stunning views today!
