| Water Crossing Notes: |
We used the "bushwacked trail" up the east side of the Little River to the third crossing--Long legs were needed to make the crossing, Flyfisha made it across but after several failed attempts, Mudslidemama had to take off the boots and roll up the pants to make the crossing, finding a location with less current flow. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail was wet and slippery with wet leaves, and even wetter on the way down during a heavy rain storm. Parts of the trail were like a small running brook between water bars. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |

|
| Bugs: |
none |
|
| Lost and Found: |
on the North Twin Spur there was the lower leg to a pair of gray hiking pants hanging from a tree. |

| Comments: |
Definitely would not suggest this hike when it had rained significantly the previous week because of running water on the trail and water crossing difficulties. We also missed out on the views because of the cloud covered summit.
Total trip was 8+ hours but we wasted a lot of time on the water crossing on the way up. |
