Dry Trail |

| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
2 crossings: easy, plenty of rocks for hopping. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Numerous large trees blown down, need to go off trail to get around most of them.
Trail is not well marked but easy enough to follow with dogs. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Billy Sue (age 10) and Maggie (12) were great at identifying the trail by scent. Where we had trouble seeing the trail thru the underbrush, we followed the dogs who followed their noses. Dogs much enjoyed water crossings, streams, springs, and mud puddles on this hot day. |
| Bugs: |
Only a few billion insatiable little buggers ! Mosquitoes swarmed us along the road from parking lot to Flat Mtn Pond Trail, Then the black flies took over. Head Nets and Deet were our best defence. Full net suits would have been even better. |
