Went up Zeacliff Trail since I hadn't done this before. River crossing was smaller and easier than I expected. The trail is steep, but has good footing. Flushed 4 spruce grouse in this section. Descended via the Twinway past the hut. Lots of families and unprepared/under-prepared hikers headed to the hut. Views were great from Zeacliff including a white capped Mt. Washington. Lots of leaves have fallen since I was here two weeks ago, but there are still some small patches that are nice. |
