Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Three water crossings high from heavy rains but still manageable rockhopping except for 3 Legger who couldn't stay up on the rocks and went for swims each time.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Beautifully maintained trails. Hard to imagine how they put those giant boulders in place so many years ago.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Great trail for the LBD but a bit of a challenge for the 3 Legger on the stairsteppers up and down - needed a helping hand up and down on occasion.

Comments
Comments: Beautiful day with the clouds clearing early revealing fall colors, the smells of fallen leaves and pine, blue skies, dramatic white clouds, and the promise of winter in the air. One hiker bailed due to travel delays and another stayed back with the Old Brown Dog but two others scored 3 more for the list. Kestrel data not obtained.
