Glad I didn’t listen to the weatherman today. Jefferson was clear the entire time I was there, with several sunny breaks. Quite warm, almost hot at times. Washington was mostly clear as well, but looked like a witches brew with clouds boiling over the summit. Trails were all in great shape, although the leaves on lower Jewell and Boundary Line make for a few hidden hazards and slippery spots. Wind was fierce on Clay and upper Jewell. Hard-to-stand-up fierce at times.
Finished my second full round of all season NH 4K's on the same peak, nearly to the day, that I finished my first 14 years ago. Now back to the "other" NH list that so rudely interrupted this second round.
