All of the several crossings were rock-hops. Hiking poles helped with balance on slick rocks. |

This was a wonderful loop! Carter Notch near peak color. Great views from the open knob at 4000 ft on the Rainbow Trail. With the exception of he Carter-Moriah segment we saw almost no one. |
