Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking available for a few cars on the side of Nash Stream Rd across from driveway. Ours was the only car. There is considerable recent road work, creating or widening ditches along both sides of the road, in the mile before the parking area, perhaps in anticipation of renewed logging.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: At least six blow downs ranging in size up to ~10 inches, easy step overs to walk arounds. Most water bars are full of rocks and soil, several to the point of failure. Lots of debris on the trail. There are trees at various points along the trail with double rings of surveyors tape and a red blaze so perhaps trail work is scheduled soon.

Good hike with VFTT under the overcast. There is the bottom half of a rusted pot-bellied stove on the summit. The sun came out briefly while on the summit then resumed hiding behind the clouds. No other hikers encountered today.
