Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the Ammonoosuc Trail lot, which is .4 mile before the Cog Railway Base Station and old Jewell Trailhead and charges the NFS fee, since there is an outhouse. There is free parking for hikers at the Base Station, however, and I met some people who were about to climb the old beginning from the Base Station, which is still maintained and signed, as a spur.
