Lowes Path a great foot bed as was the Link headed over to Isreal Ridge. Then the fun began. Some steep and slippery scrambles for sure in a wild and beautiful area. Very nice!! Crossing above the cascades required wet feet but we made it okay. I love the section in the scrub coming up to Gulfside. Great views real nice rock work..just a great spot. Gulfside quick over to Adams. Windy and cold on top..beware the seasons are changing. All the happy folks we saw had goretex and a hat one. Lots of exposure on Lowes Path descent but beautiful scenery..foot bed really good most of the way. Did a zag via Randolph and Lower King Ravine for Valeries red line.one very sketchy spot on Randolph Path due to erosion but most of these trails very good. Great footbed but a long way out on Lowes Path,,seemed to go on forever. Gorgeous day with some challenge Very nice on Israel Ridge. Thanks Valerie for a good day out |
