| Water Crossing Notes: |
Only one on this route and it was bridged. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in great shape. There is one treetop hanging in the trail on Lost Pond Tr just before the junction of Wildcat Ridge Tr. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
It's a steep rocky climb up to E Peak but an experienced trail dog should have no issues. While there is some water along the ridge it is not abundant. Marlie was glad to have her own Nalgene bottle. |

Some buzzing but not biting. |

| Comments: |
After 2 months off from the Whites I figured I would get reacquainted with as many PUDs as possible. The trails were in great shape although some of the rocks were a bit slick in the am due to humidity. Saw <20 hikers on the trail, half being AT hikers. There were a handful of people near the gondola but not crowded at all. I'm kind of surprised since it was Labor Day. After reaching A Peak we doubled back. I thought briefly about descending the ski trails but then I would miss out on couple small PUDs.;) The leaves are starting to change
