Comments
Comments: Threatened rain and t storms had us adjust route today. 19 mile shows much recent water bar work and we got off track and followed a couple of.2 mile reroutes that are under construction to avoid some of the washed out spots along the old trail..a couple of wet spots, some elevation but the routes should work well. carter dome trail also showed some recent water bar work, a couple of rough spots but over all a good footbed. flocks of people on the summit ..we didn't linger long..made it back to the car and time for a quick swim before it rained..thanks valerie for a good day out
