Yellow jackets were out again around lunch time, even on the hiking trail, seemingly attracted to goldenrod and moist soil. Fortunately no stings today. |

Light rain started around lunch time, making trails increasingly damp. More and more fall colors starting to appear.
Construction on going on the race trail (ie where you'd end up passing through the bottom of if you descend from the ski area viewpoint on the Mt. Tecumseh Trail), so probably a good idea to descend on the other side of the ski area if so desired (ie the access road).
Trail mowing continues, but not yet up to the trails adajcent to the hiking trail. |
