***Warning*** Ski trails were borderline infested with yellow jackets today, many anywhere with goldenrod and some white flowers I don't know the name of. Never seen/heard so many yellow jackets before and have certainly never experienced this at Waterville (fortunately they were gone/dormant this evening when I descended). Apparently they were out yesterday as well. Amazingly I didn't get stung. |

| Comments: |
See note above about yellow jackets on ski slopes.
Trails were mostly dry and in good shape. Descending from the ski trail viewpoint not recommended at the moment due to continued construction on the runout of that trail (heavy machinery and underground electrical work in progress). Trail mowing has finally commenced, mainly in the vicinity of the Exhibition slope. |
