| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Great lot off Rt 16. We were the fifth car at 7:00 am. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Five river crossings were not bad. The water was low. We had found that you can rock hop with care and that hiking poles made this much easier. There are at the very least eight small water run offs to step over on the rocky branch before you get to the real river crossings. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is a great need for new bog bridges on the upper half of the rocky branch as well as the Isolation trail. There also are many blow downs on the upper half of isolation as well as some on the Davis path which appears that some have been addressed but still safety issues remain. There are parts of the upper isolation that are growing in on the trail quite a bit in segments on the trail. We appreciate the trail work by the hardy people on the trail crews. Please just accept this as news rather than a criticism. The trails were pretty easy walking for the most part. Legs felt it on the way down. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
I would say to take care to watch them on the slab coming down off the Isolation spur. The rest of the trail dog friendly. We saw quite a few today. |

| Bugs: |
I think I noticed two |

| Lost and Found: |
On lower half of rocky branch on the return trip we saw a black cap which looked like wool. It was most likely one and a half miles from the lot. We left it where we saw on a branch. Not sure if it was left there for somebody to get later. |
