Comments
Comments: Excellent hike - fun to finally hike the Old Osseo Trail. Good outlooks on Whaleback - a special treat to get such a good view of Scar Ridge. Only people I saw were on the summit of Flume.

Bushwhack to South Whaleback's false and true summits was fairly open, but, I spent a bit of time hiking around obstacles to avoid getting scratched or tearing anything...so I puttered my way. Started bushwhack at the big switchback. On the way back, I came to that drainage a little high up and picked my way back down through it. Very fun.
