Comments
Comments: The trail is in good shape with mud and wet spots and some rotting snow in trail last tenth of a mile to Garfield Ridge. Garfield Ridge Trail to hut has bare spots and snow that is deep in spots, firm in spots, posthole in other spots. Frost Trail is more of the same with some narrow slanted monorail in spots, bare ground, and postholing going on. Twinway first couple of tenths of a mile is a mix of bare rocks and snow, last .4 mile is deep snow in spots still, very slippery snow. postholing is becoming a problem. North Twin Spur still has a few feet of deep snow, millions of pine needles everywhere making the trail faint but not to hard to follow, couple of huge blowdowns in col before heading up to North Twin. Snow is unpredictable at times, firm then postholing.
