Some black flies came out up high this afternoon briefly, but otherwise minimal. |

Trails have dried up nicely during this stretch of good weather this week.
If descending the ski trails, it's probably best to head to the Valley Run side (further away from hiking trail), as heavy machinery is working 7 days per week on the racing trail (if dropping onto the trails from the vista on the hiking trail, you'll eventually walk into the construction). Trail mowing has not yet commenced, so grass is rather high on ski trails at the moment. Gravel access road (starts at the maintenance building and wraps around Valley Run) is a good way up at the moment. |
