Comments
Comments: looked to be a treeline day and was. must have passed 50 people os valley way ascent. trail was quite wet in places but generally in good shape. happy to be in the shade to the hut as the sun was strong and virtually no wind. lots of thru hikers lounging at the hut. ascent to madison went smoothly..kidding..very light breeze on the summit was cool which was very fine. ascent to adams via gulf side and airline was good on dry rock. met a hice couple on summit finishing their 48!! congrats. descended via lows path just as a mob or 25 was headed up. I like the spur trail descent..a little longer but many points of interest and nice views into king ravine. recent rock work in places very nice and a big improvement over the ladders. some wet and slimy spots. the water falls all had some action going today..great day to be up high!!!
