From Route 16 in Dummer, I turned onto Dummer Ponds/Phillips Brook Road for about 7.3 miles then I took a left onto Trio Ponds Rd 1.3 miles to big log landing and parked there. |

Excellent firetower peak!!! From the parking area, I went up the very grassy ATV road (in-between the logging road on the right and Dummer Pond Rd. A word of caution: people have camped in this spot and I UNFORTUNATELY stepped in a really horrible huge smelly pile of human fecal matter :(
Anyway, I followed the ATV roads generally uphill and ended up at the firetower. Excellent views!!! |
