Comments
Comments: Snow began early & got deeper & deeper but mostly packed. Spikes really came in handy after Gem Pool. Less snow by hut, then a little more going up the cone. Warm (42 degrees) & light wind on top (25 - 30 mph). Did some skiing down (on boots). I'm glad I wasn't hiking the day of that avalanche! It scraped the trail below the Gem Pool.
