Water Crossing Notes: No issues, all rock-hoppable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails up to the start of Davis Path were fine, no issues. Davis Path between Glen Boulder and Isolation East trail had multiple lean overs (all easily ducked under) and some brushy areas, also lots of muck of rotting bog bridges in this area. Lots of rotting bog bridges in various other areas of Davis Path. Otherwise the trail was pretty easy to follow and in decent shape for a trail in a wilderness area.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hannah had a very good day - I was concerned there might not be enough water on Davis Path based on previous reports but there was plenty - lots of mud to walk through and small running streams along the way. No major terrain concerns - the steeps on Ammo may be a lot of some small dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: No major issues

Comments
Comments: The hike up Ammo was fairly uneventful - some slippery rocks in the morning from the fog, be careful if you're headed up early. Made it to Washington in good time, was able to cheer my Dad on at the end of the Auto Road Hillclimb bike race - temps were in the 30's with the wind chill, cold for August! Ran into the ant march on Tuckerman's, very few people (and great views) once we hit the Lawn Cutoff. Davis Path is wonderful - very good footing and gentle grades a lot of the way, great views from all the summits on the way, definitely has a great wilderness feel - past Isolation we only saw four people. Wonderful day exploring a finishing a few lists - congrats to Ali finishing her summer 4k's and Hannah for finishing her four season 4k's (and to my Dad finishing the auto road bike race!)
