Parking/Access Road Notes: Appalachia parking area was full at 8:15 AM, but plenty of parking on the wide shoulder of route 2.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: All were easy.

Trail Maintenance Notes: No problems. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Not a problem getting up to the Madison Spring Hut, but might be too clambery for many dogs getting to the summit.

Comments
Comments: The rocks on the upper half of the Randolph Path were extremely slippery when wet headed down. Otherwise the overall wetness and muddiness of the day was not a problem anywhere else.
