Parking/Access Road Notes: Both lots overflowing.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Recommended Equipment:  
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Streams running a little high on Garfield Tr. but still easily rock hopped on slightly submerged rocks. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 3 blowdowns a little over 6 feet off ground in the middle section of Garfield Tr.. Other than this trails in great shape with much recent work. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: All very well behaved dogs seen today (cocker spaniel reminded me of my first hiking partner Buffy). Plenty of water available. 
Bugs
Bugs: Didn't really notice any but had a few bites at end of day. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Water bottle inside foundation on Garfield. 
 
Comments
Comments: Wet trail was the norm today. Significant mud and running water on trail. First time on Garfield Ridge between Gale River and Garfield trails in quite some time for me. Section took longer than what I planned. Easy going Garfield Tr. a nice way to finish day.
