Huntington Ravine Trail was in excellent condition. Very dry. Good feet. Class 3 scrambling on boulders, slabs and ledges. Give yourself plenty of time to make good decisions and enjoy the go. Snow Leopard was at home in this environment. Alpine Garden peaceful today and away from the crowds. Some flowers left in places and butterflies active. Grasses and plants already heading toward Fall. Lion's Head Trail also in great condition. Dry and good footing for a quick descent. Tuckermans was Tuckermans, a cobbled road that made for a quick trip and return. |
