Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 3 easy water crossing, slight rock hopping on first but not hard at all. Great for dogs to cool off or have a drink. Silver Cascade is a great place to stop on the way down from Webster.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Clear, well marked, easy to follow trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Most of the trail is dog friendly. There are some rocky parts that were a little tricky for our dog to navigate. He is a 60lb lab w/ some hiking experience, we did have to help him a couple times. The Silver Cascade falls was a great place for him to swim.
Bugs
Bugs: I usually get attacked by bugs on most hikes and need bug spray. I did not need any bug spray and didn't notice any bugs.

Comments
Comments: Great hike, Jackson had a fantastic view of Mt. Washington. It's another 1.3 miles over to Webster, worth it for the views and the Silver Cascade on the way down. Total hike took 6 hours round trip with very few breaks and lunch at the summit of Jackson.
